Our Story
Life taught us not to wait for someday.
Along the way, we faced enough loss, uncertainty, and change to see life differently. We learned not to take time, health, opportunity, or the people we love for granted.
So we try to live with more intention.

Take the trip. Order dessert. Buy the concert tickets. Gather around the table. Dress for the occasion. Celebrate ordinary Tuesdays. Make the memory while you still have the chance.
Whiskey became part of our story not because of the bottle itself, but because of what happens around it—the conversations, laughter, meals, friendships, discoveries, and moments people remember years later.
That is what Distill My Heart Adventures is really about.
It is not simply about whiskey. It is about choosing joy, creating connection, and finding more reasons to enjoy the life already in front of us.
In whiskey making, the distiller separates the heads, hearts, and tails. The heart is the balanced, flavorful part worth carrying forward. Choosing what stays and what gets left behind is called making the cuts.
We take the same approach to life.
We look through the food, drinks, music, roads, places, traditions, goods, and experiences competing for your attention. We leave behind the snobbery, posturing, exclusion, and noise.
Then we share what remains: character, hospitality, craftsmanship, style, friendship, and genuine connection.
We believe life gets better when people slow down, choose with intention, try something new, and spend more time with the people who matter.
That might mean discovering a great whiskey, finding a hidden restaurant, taking the back road, hearing the right song at the right time, gathering friends for a tasting, or turning an ordinary evening into something worth remembering.
These moments do not have to be extravagant. They just have to be real.
We make the cuts. You get the heart. Then the adventure begins.
